We will start by checking on the worm bins, feeding the worms, troubleshooting issues and make sure bin conditions are optimum. We will learn about different ways to separate worms from their castings. We will end the workshop by building your personal worm bins.
All material including worms will be provided. Worm box is the one you see in the video. Dimensions of box are 21(L)*18(W)*12(H). You will receive roughly half pound of worms for your box.
We release a limited quantity of worms each month for this activity so make sure you register early if you want a worm box to take home with you. If you already have a worm bin and are just looking for a refresher on worm composting then please register for the lesson only.
